Invitation to submit artwork
We invite you to submit artwork for our ACPG featured artist of the year. Artwork must have a “cowboy” theme. Artwork is selected by the Gathering Committee at the October meeting the year before it is featured. For example the August 2017 Gathering art will be chosen in October 2016.
Please download and fill out the submission form here and include an 8”X10” (approximate dimension) for consideration. The print will not be returned unless requested. You will be notified in November of the results.
The original artwork belongs to you. We will have written permission to use the artwork for our poster, program, additional advertising and electronic media. The artist will receive 100 of the 18” X 24” printed posters for their use. Normally 1,000 posters are printed. We will need you to sign a minimum of 100 posters. We will also work with you to produce a giclee of the art for a fund raising raffle to benefit the ACPG.
We have 3 evening shows, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 10, 11, 12, 2017. We provide you and your spouse or guest complimentary tickets for all 3 night shows. We want you to attend the Gathering, particularly the evening shows to sign posters. We will provide a hotel room if you live out of the Prescott area and need a room. We will work with your schedule but your attendance is important. You are also invited to attend Friday and Saturday daytime sessions for poster signing. And you are invited to attend our opening reception and Sunday brunch.
Deadline for submission is August 15.
